HUMMIX On-Premises

Attention

Starting from release 2024.4, support for PostgreSQL version 10 is discontinued. Starting from release 2026.4, for correct system operation, it is required to install PostgreSQL 13 or higher. Before updating to a new HUMMIX version, update PostgreSQL following the instructions provided.

The HUMMIX application runs on the Kubernetes container management platform. It stores data in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and the S3 object storage. Read more in the Architecture article.

HUMMIX On-Premises editions

The HUMMIX On-Premises application has the following editions:

  1. HUMMIX Standard is the basic edition that that suits smaller companies.
  2. HUMMIX Enterprise is the edition for medium and large companies.

HUMMIX On-Premises Standard

HUMMIX Standard is available as a Helm package in the Kubernetes cluster. All HUMMIX application manifests are combined into a single package for installation by the Helm package manager.

This option is suitable for use in smaller companies.

The standard edition includes:

  • The HUMMIX application.
  • Support for a single node in a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Optionally databases PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Valkey or Redis, RabbitMQ, S3.

HUMMIX On-Premises Enterprise

HUMMIX On-Premises Enterprise is available as a Helm package. All application manifests are combined into one package for installation with the Helm3 package manager.

This is the primary and recommended delivery option. It is suitable for installation in a Kubernetes cluster such as Bare-metal, as well as Managed Kubernetes from any cloud provider.

The standard version includes:

  • HUMMIX application.
  • Support for more than one node in the Kubernetes cluster.
  • Optionally databases PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Valkey or Redis, RabbitMQ, S3.
  • Service Mesh routing system, which is Linkerd.
  • System for autoscaling microservices depending on the load.
  • Monitoring system Prometheus + Grafana.
