Activate the HUMMIX Full-Text Search solution

After installing the services, the system administrator will activate the HUMMIX Full-Text Search solution using a server license. All platform users within a single company will then have access to full-text search.

You can explore all the features of the solution for free using the demo version. The demo activation period is limited and must be agreed upon with a HUMMIX sales rep.

Activate the solution demo

1. Go to Administration > License Management.
2. On the solution page, click Activate.
3. In the window that opens, copy the Server Registration Key and give it to the sales rep from whom you purchased the HUMMIX platform.
4. The HUMMIX sales rep will agree on the demo version validity period with you and generate an activation key for the solution. Paste it into the Activation Key field and click Activate.
5. After this, the solution status in its page will change to Activated. You will see the demo version validity period next to the status.

Activate a paid solution

To continue using the solution after the trial period:

1. In Administration > License Management, select the solution and click Activate. If you are using a demo version and it has not expired, click Update License.
2. In the window that appears, copy the Server Registration Key and provide it to the HUMMIX sales rep.
3. After purchasing the server license, the HUMMIX sales rep will generate an activation key for the solution. Paste it into the Activation Key field and click Activate. The activation period is unlimited.
